Seal of Alvernia University

Hello, thanks for your unsigned comment on my talk page. I have moved your comments down into their own section on my talk page. That's how we usually do things here on Wikimedia Commons... best to create a topic heading for each new topic rather than adding it into an already existing one. Also, you might want to consider creating an account and signing your comments.

Regarding my representation of the seal of the university, that's precisely what it is. It's an artistic representation. Nowhere I do claim in my licensing of the image that what I've created is the "official" seal of the university. Because I drew the image myself, using both original and freely licensed components, it actually does not infringe on the university's copyright. If you are somehow officially connected to Alvernia University (which I am presuming, even though you never state it in your comments on my talk page), I encourage you to upload an image of the university's officially licensed coat of arms — with proper licensing — so that it can be used on university articles, if my artistic interpretation of the seal bothers you.
