List category for deletion if you wish. Emptying than demanding deletion because it is empty is inappropriate. See Commons:Deletion requests. Thank you. -- Infrogmation (talk) 14:13, 30 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Category moves queuing on the move-command list are only moves that were uncontested or had a majority for renaming at the time they were posted at that list; once a category is queuing there to be renamed any past vote that had possibly been processed concerning it becomes defunct (as it had been already concluded) and thus "opposition" votes added to the category's talk page after it's been forwarded to the bot are not valid and play no role. If you wish to contest a move command that is on that move list you may move it under the chapter "Category moves to be discussed" down the same page, and state your reason for the contestation so that a discussion can start anew. Orrlingtalk 07:45, 16 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

There never was a majority that supported your move, you just counted (deliberately) false to give the impression that your request would have the support necessary.--红龙 (talk) 16:03, 16 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
We have rules here, I'm sorry to disappoint you. Category move discussions that have been concluded with a move majority (2 vs 1 with a stunning silence throughout 9 months) are qualified for being fulfilled, as explained to you. You may not blot out such entries from the move Bot list before they've been performed, since that is a disruptive conduct that needs to be avoided as we on Wiki don't welcome such; you may rather drag contested entries down that page below the right title and start a discussion about them. [edit]

Round 2 of Picture of the Year 2013 is open!

[edit]
2012 Picture of the Year: A pair of European Bee-eaters in Ariège, France.

Dear Wikimedians,

Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the second round of the 2013 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year will be the eighth edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2013) to produce a single Picture of the Year.

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year were entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.

There are two total rounds of voting. In the first round, you voted for as many images as you liked. The top 30 overall and the most popular image in each category have continued to the final. In the final round, you may vote for just one image to become the Picture of the Year.

Round 2 will end on 7 March 2014. https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:MyLanguage/Commons:Picture_of_the_Year/2013/Introduction/en Click here to learn more and vote »]

When you disagree with a category or do you think this should be renamed to question it or you can create a new category with the most correct name. Do not have to clear it and then offer it as an "empty" because you've emptied.

this cat Category:Alfa Romeo scudetto and trilobo must remain on the commons in support of this article on it.wiki Scudetto e trilobo Alfa Romeo. You can suggest a different name or discuss it but please do not separate the images tagged to it and do not propose it for deletion, thank you. --Pava (talk) 23:38, 10 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
