Hello, I noticed you made a really cool overview map of the 2017 Scottish local elections. I really like it. Anyways, I decided to start working on revamping the maps for the individual councils. I just got done with the Fife. That's basically it. I also really liked your series of Japanese electoral maps. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Talleyrand6 (talk • contribs) 17:28, 25 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hello, 沁水湾! A few months ago, you made a great Nigerian legislative election map so I was wondering if you would look at last week's Ekiti gubernatorial election for a map. The LGA results are on its Wikipedia page and a map would be the first wiki map on a gubernatorial election. Thanks, Watercheetah99 (talk) 19:43, 24 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Got another idea, yesterday was another gubernatorial election. The race in Osun State was much closer and definitely more interesting to map due to the more varying results. Plus I added senatorial district data to the page. Thanks again, Watercheetah99 (talk) 05:28, 17 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, 沁水湾! I was wondering where you found svg files for LGAs, Senate districts, and House constituencies for these elections. I am trying to learn to make maps and the file locations would be very helpful. Thanks, Watercheetah99 (talk) 15:04, 27 November 2022 (UTC).[reply]
Hello! I'm really impressed by your maps and was considering trying my hand at a few of my own, and I was wondering where you got your data for administrative divisions, especially for some of your maps of election results from the 1920s and '30s. Do you use a GIS dataset like OpenStreetMap, or have you gone in and drawn the borders yourself?
I've interested in helping out with election mapping on Wikipedia ever since your maps were better than any media graphic I could find. Thanks again! 209.122.233.21902:11, 27 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The quality of that vector map seems fairly poor, which isn't ideal for maps on the wiki. I'm not sure if you are okay with it. 沁水湾 (talk) 23:40, 10 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you @沁水湾, for your valuable reply. I just realized that the quality is poor. Is it possible for you to redraw the borders and create a new map template? (Not forcing you but if its not possible then its fine....thanking you once again for your valuable comment.) 456legend (talk) 07:47, 12 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I, unfortunately, doubt if I possess the time or the willpower to draw it from scratch. It certainly doesn't help I know barely anything about the geography and politics of Andhra Pradesh. I nevertheless created a template based on that low-quality vector map, which is suboptimal. It would be fabulous if it can be of any use to you.
I also noticed you uploaded some parliament diagrams for elections in Andhra Pradesh. such as this oneI recommend using https://parliamentdiagram.toolforge.org , which is the standard practice on Wikipedia. It generates vector parliament diagrams and is extremely straightforward to use. 沁水湾 (talk) 06:26, 29 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
hello @沁水湾, I forgot to check your message since I didn't get pinged.
Can I get your permission to use this file to remix for the election results of Andhra Pradesh. And yes I am replacing the parliament seats diagrams with oath diagram.
Hi 沁水湾! I'm impressed by your own work! I would like to make a Korean version of the map based on your map template, so can you tell me which font you used? Thank you. Dingo0034 (talk) 00:42, 10 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hello,
I noticed that there's a couple spelling errors on your UK map template, namely Newcastle-Upon-Tyne and Leicester. I corrected them on the 2015 election map for reference. Thanks for all your great work. Quinnnnnby (talk) 18:25, 27 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hiya,
I've noticed you have made a past contribution to maps for East Lothian council elections. Would you be intersted in making one for the 2022 election?
