I deleted file La bufanda roja.jpg for not having authorization of its author. I saw now that another user opted to mark the file as "OTRS pending" instead of deleting it. hi Érico its Ok im new in this community,still much to learn :-) the autorhorization is from Author right? i have it but i dont know the format, i try to understand in wiki commons otrs help, but still confuse, so i have to send the image to wiki commons, and then the author also have to send email of autorization to wiki common, already did that, but still my image get deleted :-( . i also send the certification from mexican authority of owning the right of those cover by the author, tks for the info :-) Rafaelsantino (talk) 20:53, 16 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Rafaelsantino: Before uploading the image, is recommended to request permission from its author. Sending an authorization request to the author doesn't guarantee that the image will not be deleted or he/her will send an permission to use. My experience with this process reveals the opposite: the author rarely send an authorization to OTRS. But maybe I can help you find pictures with free license. CropTool

In the future, I would appreciate it if you used CropTool to crop images. This tool allows users to crop images already on Commons without having to download the images. It also makes sure that, if necessary, the file has already passed license review. It also properly links the images to one another, in case an issue with them comes up later. I need Help

Hi Érico,

I did not know that you were also an administrator here and so I wrote to Darwin but if you also have an idea it will be very welcome, could you help me suggest the easiest way to solve this problem?

The most active editions of the wikipedia 'Central Bicol' (bcl) - "Ringer" [1] added dozens of images in the Commons which he no longer has the original ones. Currently they have been sent for elimination because they are improper with the tag of "no license, violation of wmf:licensing policy" (please see this example [2]) all list fo them you can see here [3]

He does not know how to do it, and I do not know either. They are pictures take by him. It is possible to send an email saying that the pictures were made by him, and if so to whom should he send it?

I would really appreciate a help, this Wikipedia has already lost another of the best editors due to this problem if it loses another .......

Olá Érico, não precisa que sejam transferidas para o Commons, elas estão sendo utilizadas somente na Wikipédia bcl, como esta aqui [4] criada em 2009, mas parece que na ocasião não foi acrescentada nenhuma licença nelas e agora alguém apareceu e pediu a eliminação das 40 imagens/

Eu tentei adicionar uma licensa mas não achei como/onde ele possa adicionar ela. A única página que estamos conseguindo abrir é esta [5] ... Ele pode escrever nela que:

"PD-self|Own work, all rights released (Public domain)"
"PD-ineligible|Too simple to be copyrighted"

@DARIO SEVERI: Eu acessei os links que indicou e há um problema significativo: as imagens não podem ser transferidas para o Commons pois seu autor não indicou as licenças e autorias. @DARIO SEVERI: Ele teria que afirmar em todas as páginas das imagens que são de sua autoria. Se as imagens forem de autoria dele, não precisa de fonte. Porém, se ele não é o autor de nada naquilo, dificilmente algo poderia ser transferido para o Commons. As wikis maiores possuem políticas que recomendam fortemente a transferências de imagens elegíveis para tal. Não sei se a bcl.wiki, com apenas 7.3 mil artigos, debateu este assunto. Mapas de cidades

Olá Érico, estava vendo os mapas das cidades do Rio Grande do Sul e reparei que elas estão com um nome um pouco estranho e não é o melhor. Existe alguma convenção que determinou isso ou é possível renomear para um nome melhor? Eu estava pensando em algo como Mapa de (nome da cidade) no Rio Grande do Sul ou em inglês (nome da cidade) localization map. O que acha? Mr. Fulano (talk) 23:23, 2 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Vários assuntos

Olá Érico! Há um tempo estou com algumas questões pendentes aqui no Commons. Já expus algumas na Esplanada. Sem resposta, fui à PD de Darwin. Mas não tive retorno. Por isso, estou mandando esta mesma mensagem para os demais administradores lusófonos do Commons (Teles, Waldir, Dantadd) para pedir ajuda.

Primeiro é pedir que a renomeação que foi feita Category:Casa de Oxumare. Ou seja, para pôr de volta . A palavra é acentuada, a página eletrônica assim grafa.
Segundo é para que passe na Esplanada para ver Commons:Esplanada#Proposta de renomeação abrangente, sobre a possibilidade do que propus.
Terceiro é para ver um chato problema descrito em Commons:Esplanada#Não consigo pesquisar a partir de uma página, só da PP.
Quarto é denunciar um insulto (Revision #290868542) que recebi de anônimo(a) do IP 2A01:CB00:7CF:F100:1E62:B8FF:FE94:7E06 (talk · contributions · Statistics · Recent activity · block log · User rights log · uploads · Global account information) (assign permissions).

OTRS

Olá Érico, eu carreguei duas imagens (File:A water bug preying a Physalaemus nattereri.jpg e File:A water bug preying a Physalaemus nattereri 2.jpg) que não eram minhas, com autorização do autor, que no caso é o Fabrício Oda, conforme diz na descrição delas. Ele havia enviado a autorização para o OTRS, porém o mesmo respondeu a ele que não havia como comprovar que o autor era ele, logo paralisou o pedido, e agora ele pediu minha ajuda na questão. @Mr. Fulano: Olá. Como vai? Não sou mais membro da OTRS. Integrei esta equipe apenas por alguns meses há anos. No entanto, se ele não tem como provar que é o autor da imagem, não haverá outro destino a não ser a eliminação. Eu vou bem, e você? Mas no caso, essas imagens nunca foram publicadas em nenhum lugar, então por que que ele tem que provar que são dele? Não seria algo do tipo, quando você carrega imagens que você mesmo tirou? No caso eu apenas carreguei pra ele para facilitar o processo, já que ele não conhece o funcionamento dos commons. Mr. Fulano fui eu quem respondeu o tiquete dele. Ele precisa enviar algo que prove que ele é o autor, pois apenas enviar a permissão, sem citar um documento ou site onde ele publicou originalmente a imagem é impossivel confirmar a autoria, mesmo ele de fato sendo o autor.
