Partly sepulchral, partly from around the temples of Artemis, Athena, Hera, and Kore (Persephone) or Demeter (especially in Eleusis). Sometimes at the temples of Apollo.
Approximately chronologically.

Akropolis Korai
[edit]Most of them are exhibited by the (New) Acropolis Museum in Athens (ACMA), where there is a problem with photographing them (the old Acropolis Museum was not, so the photos may be from there). A few are in the National Archaeological Museum of Athens, where they are allowed to be photographed without any problem.
