Ancient art in the Šternberský palác (Sternberg Palace), National Gallery in Prague

Antická místnost stálé expozice Národní galerie ve Šternberském paláci v Praze

The whole thing is really for those two Fayium portraits, the other is only a supplement. (Incomparably more extensive and better collections was presented in the context of supposedly permanent exhibition "The Art of the Ancient World" in the Kinský palace in Prague, but was unfortunately canceled 26. 4. 2015, see [[1]])

The permanent exhibition in the Sternberg Palace, which presents works of ancient antiquity, ..., will be closed to the public on June 30, 2019 due to the revitalization of the exhibition.

Celé je to vlastně kvůli těm dvěma fajjúmským portrétům, ostatní je jenom jejich doplněk. (Nesrovnatelně rozsáhlejší a kvalitnější byla sbírka představená v rámci údajně trvalé expozice "Umění starověku" v paláci Kinských v Praze, byla však bohužel zrušena 26. 4. 2015, viz [2])

30. 6. 2019 se i tato expozice uzavře „kvůli revitalizaci“
