I belong to the 12th generation of the Chase family living in New England. We are direct descendants of Captain Aquila Chase who came to America in the early 1600's. He settled in what is now Newburyport Massachusetts, which is my hometown and where my sons Nate and Matt Chase were born. Needless to say, New England is in my blood and I love sharing my images of this beautiful part of America.

Some of my earliest memories are of my father Paul Chase processing photos in our basement darkroom. I studied photography as a teenager and had my own darkroom when I was out on my own. These days everything is digital and a computer is a modern darkroom. Wayne Marshall Chase
