Also on deleted file:Hosanna Yemiru.jpg you put "(OTRS: Unaccepted or insufficient permission for use on Commons)" as your edit summary. What do you mean by this? Isn't an OTRS release sufficient permission for use on Commons?

Edit: Also, don't the logos you deleted fall under pd-textlogo, as with the many other campaign logos on Commons that are used in politics articles?

Edit 2: I saw your reason for deletion on the logos. I was working to get the rest of the logos and photos if possible to add to the article 2021 Dallas City Council election, but since they were nominated for deletion, I was waiting to upload more until it was clear whether I am allowed to upload them or not.

OTRS is sufficient permission for use. But these files had no such permission. You tagged them on 26th and 21th of February with "OTRS pending" with "they will send the email tomorrow morning using the OTRS Release Generator". During month there was no evidence of such e-mail ever sent. If the permission will received and accepted, then the files will be restored. Do not re-upload them.

All the logos in Commons:Deletion requests/Files uploaded by Shadowrvn728 were really PD-textlogos and I did not delete them due to copyright reasons, but due to missing educational value. They were used nowhere, not even in en:2021 Dallas City Council election. This does not mean, that every logo used in 2021 Dallas Council elections is textlogo, it depends on logos. @Shadowrvn728: I restored them without formalities. Please add them into article. I am quite sure, that some candidates have complex logos, so you cannot have logo of every candidate in the article and if the Wikipedia community decides to remove all the logos, then I'll delete them soon after. Thomas Ashburton Picken

Please would you kindly think twice before deleting any more of the categories relating to Thomas Ashburton Picken. There has been a wholesale change of those categories, and I cannot keep up with it before it is all deleted and changed. Picken never left the UK as far as I can discover. However he illustrated many other countries during a long career, and that is significant. The categories need to show, all in one place, all the countries which he illustrated. Also, not all his work was lithographs (some were copper engravings, and some possibly wooducts), and it's currently all being labelled as lithographs. "December 2016 in Switzerland"?

Hi Taivo; I don't think that adding this category to a logo makes much sense. As I understand it, the category is for images that show something in Switzerland in December 2016. In this case, the radio station using this logo apparently began broadcasting in that month indeed, but as I see it, the logo itself is not depicting "December 2016 in Switzerland". Which deleted file refers to a sculpture

Hello Taivo. I noticed that you deleted two files that are DW at Commons:Deletion requests/Files in Category:Rizal Park, despite my withdrawal. Which of these two show the sculpture? So that I will list the file name manually on top of Category:Philippine FOP cases/deleted for quick restoration in case FOP is introduced here officially and formally (when will that happen, I don't know however, as legislative priority now is on recovery bills in response to the pandemic). User Tm creating a lot of redirecting categories

The user Tm is creating another 4 more redirecting categories to it. His behaviour is completely obsessive and senseless. Lojwe, you are the one that is completely obsessive in wanting to delete this valid and sourced redirects to remove valid names from Wikidata, Portuguese Wikipedia and Commons. This is hapenning since the middle of 2020 and you are the one that is constantly trying to remove names that, albeit sourced, are not of your liking. You are the one that is constantly trying to speed delete valid redirects, albeit what other users have said " There's nothing wrong with keeping redirection categories where users and readers will find this useful, e.g. Category:Crows" in one of your attempts to have me blocked. @Nin-TD: Some places like museums forbid photographing. Commons does not care about that. Please read COM:HOUSERULES about that. Actually this is railway station sign and it is difficult to believe, that railway station is private property. The first reason, why I am against deletion, is that railway station signs have educational value. Another reason is that the image is used in German Wikipedia – and I do not mean your userpage. This is what I initially meant with argumentation and discussion: You don't know the whole background of the footage and are instead arguing by false assumptions. It is unnecessarily taking both my and your time.

- This sign isn't hanging in a recent or historical rail station. The original rail station had been abandoned in 1987 and was later sold to a family. The sign was sold to a different family whom I did not ask for permission.

- It isn't positioned inside a household either but in a backyard.

The main reason why I'm not agreeing is that I'm still affected as the person that can be held liable in doubt. So yes, there is a copyright problem since I'm saying this as the original uploader. Also, the educational purpose of this image is not significant - it's used in one Wikipedia article that is generally dealing with enamel signs of all kind. The file is ineligible for speedy deletion. I thought about creating regular deletion request, which lasts at least week, simply for searching courtesy deletion. The file has educational value, it has no copyright problems and it has no replacement file, so outcome of regular DR will be inevitably keep. Actually the file would be eligible for speedy keep. Hi Taivo, I saw you did this change which resolved the trouble about the name of this category. But again the same users (1, 2) broke the apparent consensus that there was. I see you are administrator in Commons, so I beg you please put an end to this situation. Since last year I usually work in this line, in es:wiki, in Wikidata and in Commons, but that's impossible. I don't care about the name (although I prefer a short one), but it is impossible to work this way. I am always changing the data in Wikidata and Es:wiki because of these arbitrary changes. Morning Taivo, In regards to Commons:Deletion requests/File:Forcefire ao vivo em Mangaratiba, Brasil.jpg - Not all images have Metadata - For instance my images taken with a 2011-2013 phone includes no metadata either[2], I worry for my own photos and I worry it sets a precedent where people will think No Metadata=Copyvio.
If and when that time comes where I'm no longer around I would hope my photos (even the 2013 ones) still survive here and would certainly hope they're not nominated on the basis of being a copyvio,
The image in question is theres (otherwise they wouldn't of made such a big deal about deleting it) and personally I feel it should've been kept purely because it shows an image from that era.

It is correct that the photographer and author of the photo is Berndt Fotografie Köln. However, the copyright holder of the photo, with unlimited right of use, is 1&1 Versatel. Comment Please open COM:OTRS (German version is COM:OTRS/de) page and look, what kind of e-mail must be sent to our permissions department at permissions-commons@wikimedia.org. @TTP1233: The images must be made by Indian government. Publishing on Indian government site is often not enough. And if source site has non-free license, then this is also bad. every Commons file must be free for commercial use and derivative works. I have deleted files from https://www.pib.gov.in, because site's copyright policy from https://www.pib.gov.in/content/132_2_Copyright-Policy.aspx says: "The material must be reproduced accurately". In my opinion this means: derivative works are prohibited, nothing is said about commercial use. The site is not enough free. You can ask from village pump for another opinion. You closed as delete, asserting that since no article covered Mr Trotta the image was out of scope.

Are you sure that is correct? Mr Trotta is a senior producer of a very successful and long-running television show, one with a wide international distribution.

The Canadian Film Centre has made thousands of images available, on flickr, under free licenses. Most of those photos show celebrities or VIPs, mainly figures from the Canadian film or television industry, but also visiting American filmmakers or filmstars, or the well-heeled philanthropists whose donations support the CFC, or politicians and journalist or other VIPs. I believe that most of the individuals in those images measure up to SCOPE, and that Mr Trotta measures up to scope.

May I point out were have an order of magnitude more images here than any wiki has articles, meaning images can be in scope even if they are not currently illustrating an article.

Imissdisco never took the step to confirm that they were the real life Dan Trotta, through OTRS. I think we should assume that he or she was not the real life Dan Trotta, unless they take that step.

I supported deletion at Commons:Deletion requests/File:Bryan Atkinson at the CFC 25th Anniversary Celebration in LA.jpg once Mr Atkinson used OTRS to confirm his real life identity.

You are indefinitely blocked in en.wiki due to dispute over Dan Trotta. Indefinite block is not infinite block. If you request unblock and if you are granted unblock, then you can again ask undeletion of Dan Trotta image. Of course, files are undeleted through undeletion requests, requests on user talkpages are generally declined. He tagged my three latest pictures, which is licensed under {{YouTube CC-BY}}. He also appealed a block request against me for my contributions. Please look into this consideration. One only thing is the user is joined recently and the contribution I checked is only tagging delete and Block request. He is not a experienced person. Maybe he checked my talk page and did this. @TTP1233: I looked all the mentioned uploads and none of them was licensed in YouTube under YouTube CC-BY. The original files must have license "Creative Commons Attribution license (reuse allowed)" in YouTube.
