Denzil Morgan of British tour operator Mercia Charters organized a two-day special train ride in Kosovo for April 25 and 26, 2014. After learning this, me and a friend of mine, Bohumil Augusta of KŽC, decided to join it and to make it a part of a bigger tour of the Balkans.

Below you can find our itinerary and some pictures. As is the rule on Wikimedia Commons, feel free to copy and reuse them but please quote me as an author. And if you get inspired and decide to follow our footsteps, you will certainly enjoy these charming countries.

Note: Some cities (e.g., Zagreb or Ohrid) and monuments are so famous, that there are plenty of quality images on Wikimedia Commons already. Therefore, I have not uploaded mine - but yes, we have been there and have been glad to have done so. I may add some further photos later, when I have more time to compare my works against that of other contributors - if I see any value added.
