In the middle of this busy hectic life, rambling western Ahmedabad, specked by mushrooming shopping centers and multiplexes, you may discover your way into the nature disclosure focus, SUNDARVAN, a Nature Discovery Center located in the heart of the city Ahmedabad. Generous Amdavadis have come forward to aid Sundarvan, the mini zoo, next to ISRO on satellite road. Sundarvan was developed to spread animal awareness amongst children and youth. Various kinds of Nature Awareness and Environmental Education programs are consistently directed to give information and make ecological mindfulness inside the city’s young netizens.

     It hardly takes 2 hours to take a trip of Sundardan. It is a place where harmless animals are allowed to lead a free life. Different types of flying creatures including Peacock, ducks, love winged animals and reptiles like snakes, crocodile and little well evolved creatures like bunny, guinea pig and so on can be found here. It is significantly more delightful to see fowls like bird crows flying openly and peacocks moving ceaselessly in this natural setting. Sundarvan occasionally holds the infamous traditional puppet show. But the fundamental fascination here remains to be the 15- minute snake show. Sundarvan also has a small collection of fishes & tortoises.

Awareness Programs are conducted for park visitors on every Sunday. There are others activities like special events, shows, educational activities are conducted by the organizers. This is the best place for children, nature lover and beginner wildlife photographers. It's a lovely spot to visit.
