I very occasionally upload images into Wikimedia Commons to support articles in Wikipedia that lack images. Typically these are likely to be either geographical (obscure places where no-one has yet added an image - the first one was of a temple in the Vietnamese district of Cai Lậy) or related to energy - either sustainable energy or in connection with the downstream oil industry. I'm based in the UK, but expect most images to be international.

My images will be released under the standard licences (Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 license and the GFDL at time of writing) but I would always appreciate being advised if you are using one. This is best done by sending me an e-mail through the link on the Petrolmaps website.
