Hi everyone,

I am here because I'm kinda geeky and this place feels like home. Ok, now for the real reasons why I'm here.

I am Editor in Chief of a grassroots organization for people who have/ have had any experience in the mental health system. I beleive the current popular term is 'consumers.' Yes, so we deal with consumers and I put together a newsletter every quarter.

I write editorials on a number of different subjects. This September 2006 I am writing about Transgender Mental Health. There is so much material so I am narrowing my scope a bit and I'll probably just do a quick overview of the subject and list some popular community resources.

I am also researching impoverished women and their experience getting Primary Health Care. This is a two year contract at the BC Centre of Excellence for Women's Health.

So I signed up for Wiki and I hope my experience here is a good one.

I can see there's much to learn so anyone who wants to give me any pointers please do so.
