Nooranad suku is a well noted malayalam playdirector in kerala. He was born on May 30,1965 at Nooranad , a village in Alappuzha district of kerala. After the bachelors degree in Mathematics from TKM Nangyarkualngara he graduated in theater direction at the school of Drama,calicut university,Thrissur. Recognized as Play writer,theater director,lyricist,light designer and director, theater trainer and associate film director. wrote and directed more than twenty street plays,that performed over 2500 centers around Kerala. More than fifty major plays among which include the works of famous authors like Sophocles (Oedipus, Antigone) Badal sarkar ( Evam Indrajith), Glean Griffith (My Hills My Home), Indira parthasarathy( Layers of blanket),Omcheri Narayanapillai (Thevarude Aana), G.sankarapillai (Bharatavakyam, Dharmakshetrea kurukshethre, Pavakoothu, Kaserakali,Avatharanam Bhranthalayam,Subhantham,Thirumpi vanthan Thampi etc..) Writer and director of children's plays like Kanchanakoodu, Aruninte school diary. Organizer and director of Campus Theater Workshop and Children's theater training courses. Directed stage plays for famous commercial banners of Kerala. Blessed to be the part of productions of world famous theatre persons such as Apple Bee, B.V Karanth, Maya Tungberg,Kavalam Narayanapanicker, Vayala Vasudevan Pillai and S. Ramanujam. Nooranad Suku Won the Award of Department of Cultural Ministry of Kerala and honoured by Kerala state youth Welfare board.He is the cheif Editor of Drishyavedham Magazine and the Director of Bodhi Holy theatre group.He has to his credit many state award winning plays. His drama book Pacha Jeevajalam was published by Unma Publication in 2020.
