I chose this picture because this “monument” is very close to where I live. There is a park named after John F. Kennedy. John F. Kennedy was our 35th president and did some pretty cool things.The Cuban Missile Crisis, the Bay of Pigs Invasion, the Nuclear Test Ban Treaty, the establishment of the Peace Corps, developments in the Space Race, the building of the Berlin Wall, the Trade Expansion Act to lower tariffs, and the Civil Rights Movement happened while he was president. He made some changes during his presidency. This park was built in 1968 having 4.8 acres.
