Laurie Anderson amidst the Kronos Quartet in Chicago after performing LANDFALL w:oratorio at the Harris Theater for the Arts located underneath the downtown/off-lakefront w:Millennium Park. Original description on Flickr: At the Harris Theater for the Arts, a 1500-soul posh music venue/kiva complete with lots of fancy climbing. The space is hidden underneath Chicago's Millennium Park, downtown, right off the lakefront on Randolph Street.
Hopewell Culture USA pamphlet on The Wyandotte, very informative!
[edit]-
I got this with my late mom on a day trip from Cincinnati into the Mound Builders county and ultimately The Hopewell Culture National Historic Park near Chillicothe, Ohio. Found it around the house in 2015.

Actually, an accidental upload when trying out the serial uploading feature of the new Flickr upload tool that takes sets of Flickr pictures, but happy in the sense that it exposed continued persecution by some Commons/Polish Wikipedia editors who will go out of their way to suppress my content as self-promotional

From Dead Kennedys show in Chicago's Bottom Line in the 1300 block of west Lake Street, near west side
[edit]-
Dead Kennedys in their original lineup minus vocalist and leader Jello Biafra who is squabbling with them over royalties, on tour in 2014 as they did in 2013 and years before. By now DKs are very, very proficient at stagecraft and mastering their instruments. This only goes to show that if you live to be an old fart there are many happy returns in that. Roger Daltrey of The Who was simply mistaken. The crowd was 1/2 very active mosh pitters, I would say, some unnecessarily aggressive, and 1/2 folks standing back and taking it all in. The acoustics and the band were spot on. Skip even taunted the croud on many scores, including this being Chicago and he is from New York, the hapless Cubs, and even recited a fragment of a poem to a unison of ef-yous. Yes, it was a lovely bit of Chicago’s own Carl Sandburg. The signature moement was on the last encore piece, “Holiday in Cambodia”, when the band broke into a slow trot of “Sweet Home Alabama”, before viciously ending in the fast tune. Very much worth it, and not just to catch a bit of history.

Chez Mareklug, showing off the classic T-shirt in XL not XXL no less... Tonight's (27 June 2014) show memento, at Bottom Lounge, and very well played. In their old age they certainly have mastered their instruments.... Original lineup minus Jello Biafra.

Northwestern University Evanston campus, at the coastal park landfill, a solitary park lamp, snow on the ground, smoking Lake Michigan (warmer water is steaming), winter 2001. Fragment of self-timed tongue-in-cheek self-portrait of the artist as a pretentious ass (positioning of the camera achieved with the assistance of Sheila Miguez, Vice President for Public Relations, A Small Garlic Press) used as visual key for the reverse of the greeting card designed by the author in November 2013, and produced as physical card + white envelope by Shutterfly as work-for-hire.The text shown underneath the picture is verbatim leading fragment of website plain text that was hidden from view: The website in question sold counterfeit Canada Goose parkas from China, and required disabling JavaScript in order to reveal plain text possibly machine-translated from Mandarin, else the browser displayed a faux Canada Gouse outlet web store in English with Canada Goose "flair". This curiosity was discovered through experimentation by w:User:Soap. The website has been taken down since.

Sir_Designer aka Internet personality pl:Mareklug, overdressed, certainly not to be confused with Wikipedian Mareklug, who edits Wikipedia and gets involved in squandering his online reputation butt nekkid, or at best, attired in rags suitable for breaking the local rules pertaining to refusing, as he egregiously refuses his refuse at about 3 a.m., whereas the local rules mandate doing so between the hours of 9, on the OPPOSITE side of the interval the antisocial Wikipedian Mareklug avails himself of.
