Greetings! Welcome to my Wikimedia Commons user page. I mostly upload historical artwork, literature, and photographs related to Sikhism and Punjab.
About me

[edit] I have been a long-time reader and lurker of Wikipedia for decades now but only decided to sign-up and start contributing myself only relatively recently.
Originally, I was dismayed by the lack of access, availability, and documentation to & of artistic and photographic material related to Sikh and Punjabi history, culture, and society. Rather than let that remain the case, I decided to make a difference rather than remaining idle. I have uploaded over 4,000 images so-far and have only scratched the surface. Feel free to browse my uploads to see them.
Disputes
[edit]I prefer productive and fruitful dialogue in the event of a dispute between myself and another fellow editor. I do not like drama or conflict and will avoid it if possible. I will never personally insult you and I expect the same conduct from your behalf as well. Remember that we both have more in common with each-other than differences: we just want to make Wikipedia the best and most informative cyber resource it can be!
Mistakes
[edit]I am not perfect and do not claim to be so. If I have made a mistake anywhere in my activities, please do not shy away from alerting me on my talk page so that I may correct myself and note down my error to avert further future mishappenings.

[edit]- upload more historical artwork depicting Sikh and Punjabi personalities (especially of women)
- upload more historical literature of interest
- upload more historical photographs of Sikh and Punjabi heritage sites before they were renovated and lost their original appearance
- learn how to make images of historical flags in svg file form
