Unfortunately I am not a regular user of Wikimedia Commons, and therefore most of the images I have so far uploaded are those directly connected with my activities on Wikipedia. Recently I have begun to upload images other than my own photographs, such as a few of illuminated manuscripts as well as some old photographs/postcards of Selly Oak and Bournbrook, mainly to use in forthcoming articles I am endeavouring to write. To be honest I’ve been struggling a bit with how to tag these, but have tried to follow what others seem to have done by using examples already on Commons as templates. So I hope more experienced users will forgive me if I have inadvertently used incorrect tags, and if anyone with more experience in such matters has advice or suggestions on more relevant tags then please let me know.
