I am one of those Italians (from Lecce, Salento) who choose to emigrate. I decided for Ireland. I arrived when the Celtic Tiger was still roaring (2004) with my wife-to-be.

We have been through difficult times but, even under global recession, Ireland hasn't lost the vivacity and the charm, that is probably due to the young average age of Dublin (one of the most cosmopolitan capitals in Europe).

I know WIKI since 1999 but I only recently added two smalls interventions (in the Italian version) on Irish famous people. I hope to add few contributions on the history - people of the Emerald island.

I am fascinated by history, human geography and learning new cultures, visit new places.
