Kurt Boone was born in 1959 in Brooklyn, New York and is the author of 7 books. His title are "Looking For Myself", Co-Author "Inside Grand Central Terminal" with photographer John Sarsgard, Co-Author of "New York Alleycats" with photographer Amy Bolger, Kevin Bolger and illustrator Greg Ugalde, "On The Subway", Co-Author of "Urban Theory: Critical Thoughts In America with Noreen Mallory and introduction by Stephanie Wilson, PhD, "Messenger Poet" with illustrations by Greg Ugalde and "Asphalt Warrior" He has been profile in New York Times, New York Daily News and Courier Magazine. He is also the producer of "The Messenger Poet Show" a web series direct by Carl Weston of Videograf Production. Kurt Boone also founded the Messenger lifestyle brand, Messenger 841 and help launch the Monster Track Brand with Carlos Ramirez, Victor Ouma and Greg Ugalde.

As a messenger he work at four different companies, Rapid Messenger Service, Excel Messenger Service, Kangaroo Courier and Mobile Messenger Service. He has done product collaboration with Wildwood Productions, TYCA Corp., Seagull Bags, Kiat USA and most recently with Blaq Design for Messenger 841 Bags. His product sponsors over the year have include Converse Sneakers, Timbuk 2, Chrome Bags, Bern Unlimited and Shut NYC.

I am a journalist and author from New York City. I am part of the communities of street cultures that includes grafitti, urban cycling, street photography, skateboarding, busking, and spoken word. Through my work as a writer I have relationships with key influencers in street cultures.
