The name of this concept is called the " interchangable speaker cabinet ". The idea is for users to open the cabinet from the back and be able to replace speakers and wires easier. The creator Richard Aguas states " audio lovers can now open the back of their speaker cabinets and be able to lock them as well " . This idea uses metal hinges for the speaker cabinet to be able to open. This idea is currently under development. Retrospection is currently working on a " sliding speaker cabinet ".

The concept is for the front panel of the speaker cabinet, to be able to slide a new panel over and back into it and be able to lock into place. The idea called the " sliding front panel " is for users to be able to change their speakers and looks of the cabinet. Assorted colors will be available. Future tenative designs will be aqua, jungle, techno and raver. Future concepts will be to have the cabinet work with the " interchangable speaker cabinet ". Also the ability to open the speaker cabinet from the front is also in the works, along with special push in character designs and create your own graphics.
