How devastating it is, that there is so much beauty in the world when we must one day leave it. How devastating that so many human lives have been forgotten, that billions of years have passed without proper record.
I suppose I began this because of a school project. Wikimedia Commons became my go-to website for finding free-to-use images. But really I began this because I have seen the most stunning places on Earth, and I have grown attached to them, and my only duty to them is to share my memories.
I look for them everywhere I go, but really I have no plan for when we reunite. I am lucky, then, that I never find the people I’m looking for. And yet I always hope that they’ll be around the corner.
