Hi,
I am one of the volunteer supporters of Wikimedia Commons, an archive of over 20 million images that is part of Wikipedia and preserves and provides permanent free access for the public to reuse them.
The Wellcome Trust Library is part of a joint project[4] to release a large number of high quality images related to medical history and this includes ACT UP posters dating back over the last few decades.
Could a representative of ACT UP please provide confirmation by email that the Wellcome Trust's release of scans of historic ACT UP posters are correctly on a free release license (CC-BY)? To be permanently hosted on Wikimedia Commons we need to be able to verify the free reuse license on behalf of the public, and I can put your email on record for future reference. I have included links to examples below.
