A notice at Ryde Pier Roundabout bus stop, Ryde, Isle of Wight giving people details on the times of the Ryde Road Train, which ran along the seafront in Ryde until the end of Summer 2010. During the last Summer it operated, no formal timetable was produced and it ran a continuous service, running more times on quieter days. As a result the notice just says the next one will be departing "soon". However, in reality this could have been anything up to about 30 minutes away.

As can also be seen, the road between Whitwell and Godshill had recently been resurfaced, which is why there are no road markings. As a result the route had been on diversion while the works were carried out.

A notice at the bus stop at Southford Farm, on the outskirts of Whitwell, Isle of Wight for school bus services run by Southern Vectis. Shortly before the photograph was taken, the road between Whitwell and Godshill had been resurfaced completely, meaning it had to be closed off. This meant some bus services had to be diverted to other roads. Although by the time the photograph had been taken the works were almost complete and the road was back open, the diversion notice was still there.
