Buses queuing along South Street in Newport, Isle of Wight. As can be seen in the distance, a lorry was reversing into the TK Maxx and Co-op loading bay, which can be difficult to do and had caused traffic delays either way. This is something that occurs daily, often causing delays such as those shown in the photo.

Some of the paint had been taken away from where the old 194 number was and at this stage hadn't been repainted.

Southern Vectis 595 Mill Bay (R813 NUD), a Volvo B10M-62/Plaxton Premiere 350, in Church Street, Ventnor, Isle of Wight on route 6. It is very unusual to see a school coach like this operating a regular bus route, and had been done on this occasion because a bus had broken down earlier in the day. Presumably there wasn't a spare regular bus available to cover the route, meaning a school coach had to be used.
