Abhishek David Mukherjee (born October 16, 1995, Chandannagar, Hooghly, West Bengal, India) is the youngest geoscientist associated with National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Pursued his high school degree from Council of Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE), Bachelors from University of Calcutta, Kolkata, India with specialization on Geoscience, Post Graduation from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India with Remote Sensing & Satellite Imagery and currently working on his PhD from School of Earth and Space Exploration, Arizona State University, US. He is the youngest to be awarded with Hubble Fellowship in 2021 by NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) for his work on Uranium based Nuclear Energy Systems with special reference to Mars. He is specially known for his Edgar Award and Pulitzer Award nominated masterpiece "Life Under The Psychedelic Light" "Indirect Determination of the Th(n,f) and Th(n,f) Cross Sections for Thorium-Based Nuclear Energy Systems" and other projects on Uranium and Thorium.
