Nyctanthes arbo tris-tris is a flowering climber. This climber flowers once in a year during the tamil months "purattasi and Avani" This character has also been described in the book written by Kalki named "sivagamiyin sabatham". This plant has frgrant flowers. The flower stalk is orange in colour and have twisted petals. This plant also symbolises lord Krishna.
