Eganvile is a small village located in the Upper Ottawa Valley of Eastern Ontario, Canada. The Bonnechere River flows through the middle of the village.

The Bonnechere Museum in Eganville is designated "The Ordovician Capital of Canada." Many fossils are found in this area and guided, educational fossil hunts are conducted each summer. Eganville's proximity to the Bonnechere Caves, a natural underground series of caves makes it a great area to study and learn more about this geological era.
