4. Illustrations of good quality or unusual interest from public-domain sources. I usually adjust them so that they would be useful for printing in a book or magazine—for example, adjusting yellowed paper to white background—but I try to link to the originals, if they were found on line, so that anyone else can make different decisions about the adjustments.
