Many actions on Wikimedia Commons have rate limits, which limit how quickly a user can perform them. These limits are different for different actions and for different groups of users.
The limits
[edit]The more significant limits are shown in the table below. They are defined by a number of actions and a time in seconds over which those actions must take place. For ease of comparison, equivalents in terms of actions per second or per minute are also provided.
