Bigtreebirds is where I share some of the wildlife photographs(mostly birds) that I take in and around my garden in Na Ngua, Phetchabun, Thailand. Most birds featured are fairly common, although even the common can be quite exotic here!
Na Ngua is located on Highway 21, 350km north of Bangkok, my home is a couple of kilometres outside the village in a rural setting. The area is rice growing country in the Pa Sak River valley with the Phetchabun Mountains to the West(Kho Kho) and East(Nam Nao). There are several National Parks within the area where birds and wild animals may be viewed.
In September it is possible to observe many raptors heading south in the annual migration.
