My name is Benjamin Michael Schmoyer.

I went to DePaul University for 2 years. I studied Community Psychology. The major was centered around breaking the cyclical nature of so much trauma. Unfortunately, the major was a new addition to DePaul and had a very basic curriculum padded by other, more general, Psychology classes.

In my Freshman year, I got connected with a non-profit called Haven Studio. Haven Studio was a music studio located in the basement of a church that offered free production, sound engineering, and songwriting lessons. It also operated as a safe space for kids to be after school. I quickly fell in love with the environment and the family of people that would come. One of the people I met was an artist named Dre Izaya, and we quickly became very close friends.
