The Washington GREYS have been a staple in military youth programming in New York City for 54 years. Throughout those years the GREYS have provided young cadets with wholesome and healthy programing aimed at creating a disciplined and active young leader. From its inception, the program proved challenging as a military band and an active army training regimen complete with physical training and military science courses.

Today the GREYS offer a safe haven to our young cadets with training that includes military courtesy, drill and ceremony, physical training, classwork, mountaineering, marksmanship and survival. Headquartered in the Kingsbridge Armory the Washington Greys follow in the proud traditions of the 258 Field Artillary Regiment of the United States Army.
