LaGammon was invented in Spring 2022 by Laila Leonhardt
It is a alternative starting position for the game of backgammon to achieve more complex games.
It is used as a practice tool and has been played as cubeless side events in following tournaments:
- 40th Swedish Open (Sweden 2022)
- 10th Lion's Cup (Germany 2022)
- 6th Gibraltar Backgammon Championship (Gibraltar 2023)
