Joachim Pick -The Stained Glass Windows he created in Frankfurt during his lifetime.

I have started this page in the hope that other people who knew Joachim can add Italic textinformation about his life and work.

The first time I met him was through my family as we had a villa near San Ginignano in a hamlet called Monti. Monti actually lies on the old Pilgrimadge trail called Via Francigena. He had converted an old chapel over many years which was origially the school for Monti but contained a quatro cento painting by Pier Francesco Fiorentino of the Madona and child. This eventually, he got moved to the museum in San Gimignano. He was generous with his knowledge and his freindships and as I grew up and visited my parents villa every summer I got to have great chats about the arts and culture with Joachim. He had a studio around the back of the chapel where he worked on woodcut prints which were in a similar style to the grand stain glass windows he created for the churches of Frankfurt.

I have found very little information about his life so far apart from that he was a long time head for the Dommuseum (cathedral museum)-https://parish-frankfurt.de/beitrag/a-short-history-of-our-parish/. In the link there is a Print that he gave as a gift for the establishment of St. Leonhard's International English-Speaking Parish. I
