AaronMychael is a multimedia journalist and freelancer based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
He holds a Bachelor's Degree from Louisiana State University (LSU) in Journalism, with a minor in English. He began his journalism career in 2003 as an intern at the Sun Herald newspaper in Biloxi, Mississippi, where he stepped into the role of reporter a year later. After graduating with his Associate degree from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College - Perkinston Campus in 2005, Aaron received scholarships to attend LSU in Baton Rouge. He joined the staff of the Daily Reveille - LSU's school newspaper - as a photographer in 2006-2007. During that time, Aaron also interned at the Advocate newspaper as a reporter in news, sports, lifestyles and photography in 2007. After graduating with his B.A. in journalism, Aaron began working as the editor of the West Side Journal newspaper in Port Allen, Louisiana.
As editor, he was often described as a one-man show. Charged with the creation of the printed newspaper each week and daily web updates, he often found himself reporting, photographing and designing page layouts during the week.
