The color used by Wikipedians for the California Historical Landmarks project is golden yellow (the state color), so it'd be wonderful to keep it consistent with the project on Wikipedia. The color of a wikipedia table is no reason to make this template substantially different from all other Category:Monument templates and iritate our readers (including me, thats why im here, thougt there is a problem with the file).
