Edit request on 25 January 2013
[edit]Editprotected Change "taken or made during the course of the person's official duties" to "taken or made as part of that person's official duties". This text matches that of the relevant statute (17 U.S.C. § 101) as well as using simpler language. VernoWhitney (talk) 21:36, 25 January 2013 (UTC)
- Done, thanks for helping! odder (talk) 22:36, 26 March 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Editprotected Inline with Commons:Village_pump#US_Govt_works_being_categorised_as_CC-PD-Mark, can we get the page replaced with:
<noinclude> license </noinclude>
The above will look like (please delete the below once done)
This image or file is a work of a U.S. Air Force Airman or employee, taken or made as part of that person's official duties.
As a work of the U.S. federal government, the image or file is in the public domain in the United States. Re-users from outside the United States may be required to contact the United States Air Force to seek a license for re-use.

- Done/ Not done I added "in the United States" part. I think that "Re-users from outside the United States" will have to use their own judgment about what to do, but "contacting the United States Air Force" does not seem like a productive thing to do--Jarekt (talk) 04:54, 30 December 2015 (UTC)
