Restoring template as designed

[edit]

26-May-2009: I am restoring the Template:PD-Meyers-MKL-textpage to work just the way it was designed to work during the past 3 months, with typical sections as "Summary" & "Licensing" to match the requested edit-protect update to the related template, {{PD-Meyers-pages}}. Hint: That 3-month design was not an accidental arrangement of features (oh it wasn't?), no, instead, it was a carefully planned design (over 3 months, by the way) to auto-generate the description, source, author, date, permission, and licensing (etc.) in a specific manner. Huh, specifically designed to work a certain way. Well who knew. Well, now you do. The template auto-generates links to the prior & next volumes in the series, as well as linking to the prior/next pages within the current volume. The template is intended to auto-generate new licensing information, in future years, without the need to bot-re-edit the 16,500+ pages of the entire MKL encyclopedia. -Wikid77 (talk) 06:15, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

PD-date

[edit]

When visiting a page with this template, one sees:

Author: Joseph Meyer (1796–1856).
Permission: The author died in 1929.

This is irritating and should be changed.

I understand that there are more authors involved than Meyer himself, at least in the editions after his death. But there should be any explanation how we got to the number 1929.

Looks like it is just 80 years before this template has been created in 2009. -- Juergen 95.223.151.37 17:15, 8 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

No idea where 1929 come from, so I assumed 1956. --Jarekt (talk) 18:19, 8 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
You assumed 1856, not 1956. Thank you. -- Juergen 95.223.151.37 22:07, 29 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
