Money and stamps

- Immaterial reproduction of banknotes is allowed if resolution under 72 DPI (after image scalled to the size of original banknote) and the text "SPECIMEN" with width at least of 75% of banknote's witdh and height at least 15% of banknote's height is placed over the banknote. For detail informations read the Czech national bank direction number 553/2006. In advance, it seems the CNB "permission to reproduce" doesn't void the copyright rights of the autor of banknote's picture (to request of fee for use of the picture created by him). Stamps seems to be reproducible with the issuer permission only.
- Those conditions define additional anti-counterfeiting protection (see Commons:Currency), but we still have to consider the copyright aspect. I am not completely certain about the copyright status of Czech(oslovakian) coins and banknotes, but I would say they are fully copyrighted, too. --Mormegil (talk) 17:03, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
Law
[edit]It has been suggested (see Ticket:2009070310028392) that because the Czech coat of arms is on this template, its use (at least in the Czech republic or by Czech citizens) may violate Czech law 154/2001. Perhaps we should consider removing it. Stifle (talk) 15:02, 3 July 2009 (UTC)

- The law is 352/2001 Sb., not 154/2001 Sb… Anyway, the flag has been used here for a long time, until User:Botev changed it into the coat of arms, saying “coat of arms is better suited for governmental works”. Even though the coat of arms is indeed a better symbol for that, it is not that important.
