More icons in Category:Norro style 1 icons -- Basile Morin (talk) 15:55, 21 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Let's go for something that is 1) neither red nor green and 2) does not have a + or - sign so it won't be mistaken for a vote. Let's also use a symbol that makes sense for this context ( does not mean anything). The exclamation mark (!) make sense to me, as it is already being used for other kinds of comments via {{Comment}}. Since we are usually talking about photograpy-related flaws, might be an option too, but it looks like it's a bit difficult top recognize as a camera at the usual 15px size.
Found a list of similar templates at Commons:Polling templates#Flaws in Images. Some of them use (which seems a bit extreme and doesn't fit the Norro style), others have custom images like chromatic aberration (most of which only make sense if you look very closely). They should probably get the same symbol.
Either of these seems OK to me:

Agree. And between both, I prefer Oversaturated personally -- Basile Morin (talk) 17:21, 21 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
To answer to @Rhododendrites: ' suggestion (on the FPC talk page), the icon used for {{Overprocessed}} is labeled "File:Symbol wtf vote.svg" (WTF?) According to El Grafo, it "does not mean anything" -- Basile Morin (talk) 17:32, 21 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
So I propose we change this icon in the next days. Thanks -- Basile Morin (talk) 23:54, 21 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

New design (proposal)

Not green, that looks positive. I'd go for Oversaturated. But we should only ever use one template. So if you want to give the nominator/originator a chance to edit use Oversaturated; if you want to oppose write oversaturated and don't use a second template. • ✓[OK] New version uploaded with dominant pink & orange tones. Concerning the number of templates used in a nomination, that's a personal choice. We have no limitation to the number of {{Comment}} templates which are likely to precede a vote in theory. I also think that the advantage of having a specific icon for this particular template is that the message sent is clearer. And differs to the very general " Comment" -- Basile Morin (talk) 11:00, 22 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
