Additional Slovene translations

{{Edit request}} Hi, could someone please add the following translations for Slovene (sl):

  • 1st quarter: |sl= prva četrtina
  • 2nd quarter : |sl= druga četrtina
  • 3rd quarter: |sl= tretja četrtina
  • 4th quarter: |sl= zadnja četrtina
  • millenium: |sl={{Ordinal|{{{2|}}}|lang=sl}}. tisočletje

Thanks a lot. --Eleassar (t/p) 12:58, 27 September 2012 (UTC)

I added it to {{Other date/sandbox}}. Here is a test:
  • {{other date/sandbox|1st quarter|1999|lang=sl}} -> prva četrtina 1999
    date QS:P,+1999-00-00T00:00:00Z/9,P4241,Q40690303
  • {{other date/sandbox|1st quarter|1999-09|lang=sl}} -> prva četrtina septembra 1999
    date QS:P,+1999-09-00T00:00:00Z/10,P4241,Q40690303
  • {{other date/sandbox|1st quarter|1999-09-09|lang=sl}} -> prva četrtina 9. septembra 1999
    date QS:P,+1999-09-09T00:00:00Z/11,P4241,Q40690303
  • {{other date/sandbox|millennium|2|lang=sl}} -> 2. tisočletje
    date QS:P,+1500-00-00T00:00:00Z/6
  • {{other date/sandbox|1st quarter|{{other date/sandbox|millennium|2|lang=sl}}|lang=sl}} -> prva četrtina 2. tisočletje
    date QS:P,+1500-00-00T00:00:00Z/6
    (this probably is not right but many nested cases are wrong)
Is this correct? --Jarekt (talk) 13:45, 27 September 2012 (UTC)
I'm not sure what does the third case mean. It would translate as "the first quarter of the 9th September 1999". The last case should have genitive for 'tisočletje', i.e. 'tisočletja' - otherwise it's ok. --Eleassar (t/p) 14:02, 27 September 2012 (UTC)
You are right 3rd case makes no sense. --Jarekt (talk) 15:10, 27 September 2012 (UTC)

{{Editrequest}} Please, replace Julijanskem koledarju with julijanskem koledarju for sl. Thank you. --Eleassar (t/p) 13:10, 12 October 2012 (UTC)

Please, also correct:
|sl=ok. {{IfNum | {{{2|}}} | let}} {{ISOdate|1={{{2|}}}|2=sl|form=gen}} do {{ISOdate|1={{{3|}}}|2=sl|form=gen}}
to:
|sl=ok. {{IfNum | {{{2|}}} | leta}} {{ISOdate|1={{{2|}}}|2=sl|form=gen}} do {{ISOdate|1={{{3|}}}|2=sl|form=gen}}.
Thank you. --Eleassar (t/p) 22:48, 24 February 2013 (UTC)
✓ Done, thanks --Zolo (talk) 08:28, 25 February 2013 (UTC)

✓ Done. I removed "до Н.Э." parts. They are already being added by the {{Era}} template. See {{other date|turn of the century|5|era=BC|lang=ru}} -> "конец V — начало IV века до н. э.". --Jarekt (talk) 03:58, 7 January 2013 (UTC)

by and circa

Could someone please explain to me the difference (if it exists) between "by" and "circa" parameter… to me, it seems to be "only" a matter language. i.e. people used to scientific/artistic datation will use "circa", while other people will use "by", which means that the whole translation of those parameters could be merged.

If I am wrong, please explain the difference of use :) --Hsarrazin (talk) 21:06, 20 February 2013 (UTC)

As for the merge of {{Circa}} and this template, it seems an obvious simplification (reduction of templates number), and I completely agree :) --Hsarrazin (talk) 21:06, 20 February 2013 (UTC)

In English "by" is something very similar to "before". A sentence "He was done by midnight" and "He was done before midnight" means almost the same. --Jarekt (talk) 12:41, 21 February 2013 (UTC)
