Does this consider uses of files? Could it be added to old charts & maps?

[edit]

I think files that have this template shouldn't show up too far down in the search results if they are used a lot, such as several times on Wikipedia (uses on wikibooks could be ignored and an ENWP use or multiple-WP uses are clear indications that the file should be showing up high up in the results). Does the search results algorithm consider the file's uses and even so if this template is set on it?

Is there a way to also "negatively boost" (deboost) outdated charts and datagraphic maps similar to this template or by using this template (e.g. by a script that adds it to all files in a cat)? It would be useful if files in older-year categories or not in any year-category would show up below those that are more up-to-date according to the Category:Charts by year of latest data cats? (Category:Maps of the world by year could probably also be used.) Prototyperspective (talk) 11:09, 22 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
