Template talk:Gallery page

This template is now a recommendation in Commons:Galleries. It was added in April 2018 as a result of consensus following this discussion. Cnbrb (talk) 12:02, 28 June 2018 (UTC)

Rephrase?

Instead of using the term "images" in the template (as in "specially selected images" and "wider selection of images"), would it be better to say "images and media files"? This would make the template more consistent with galleries that largely consist of video or audio files. Lambtron (talk) 19:03, 31 March 2021 (UTC)

This is a translatable page, and it needs to be marked for translation by a translation administrator before any changes go live. (This is mainly because translation syntax requires extreme caution to avoid breakage, but it also makes vandalism less visible.)
