Multi-target nominations

[edit]

How could one use this template for nominations containing multiple files? Such as Commons:Deletion requests/Files uploaded by Golart. What to do if several files have to be kept, but others have to be deleted? Incnis Mrsi (talk) 13:39, 26 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The template doesn't allow for that; we could add a "mixed" result option if there's enough demand. In the mean time you could either use the template twice (once for Keep: Keep files X, Y, Z and once for Delete: Delete files A, B, C) or just do without the template and make the proposal in your own words. [edit]

Category:Proposed closures contained only five old archived proposals. Extremely old stuff could be killed by some "only outside of archive" magic, but for newer archived CFDs and DRs only manually adding a "done=1" gets rid of bogus entries in the tracking category. Additionally the "days=n" feature is not covered by any policy (unless it happens to be the correct number of days for the earliest possible closure), and it's some kind of feature creep: Any user can close a CFD or DR if the implementation does not require elevated rights, and otherwise users can add {{Vd}}, {{Vk}}, etc. with any rationale they care to offer. –Be..anyone (talk) 03:32, 27 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
