Title

I was wondering about the title:

  • Is the uppercase needed at "photo", it is somewhat quicker to type lower cases.
  • Could the template be called "object photo" ? It may not be a good idea to call {{Artwork}} "object" because the word can have so many meanings but here it may be okay, and really the template can be useful for many kinds of objects.--Zolo (talk) 07:22, 27 January 2011 (UTC)
Zolo,  Support to move this template to {{Art photo}}. For {{Object photo}} it's after 11 years to late now I guess … :-) --Marsupium (talk) 20:54, 13 January 2022 (UTC)
Support case change. Other ideas: What about "Artwork photo" or "Photo of artwork"? Eric talk 01:44, 14 January 2022 (UTC)
Eric, actually I think there would be better names than {{Art photo}}, indeed I think {{Artwork photo}} would be a better name, (occupied) {{Object photo}} would be even better.
However, the template exists since more than eleven years, and has >100k transclusions. In short, it's very established. And in my eyes a real (not just case-switching) name change doesn't justify the confusion and relearning it would cause. Best, --Marsupium (talk) 07:11, 14 January 2022 (UTC)
Don't we have some mechanism whereby a deprecated template name invokes the new one? So that the old name would be a synonym for the new "official" one? Eric talk 13:52, 14 January 2022 (UTC)
