This template is used in the "Author" parameter of the {{Information}} template to render the words "Original uploaded by" in the language specified in the user's preferences.

There are two possible ways to use this template:

• Use the template with one parameter. It just renders the words "Original uploaded by" followed by link to the user page in Commons.
• Give the language code as a second parameter. The template displays the words "Original uploaded by" followed by link to the user page in the language wiki specified by the language code.

To add your language to the list of languages supported by this template, please edit the template and add a row to the "{{LangSwitch|}}" construct. It takes the form "|xx= Your translation " (xx being the code of your language)
