- Usage
- Translates 'Monotypic taxon' (Singular, First character uppercase, with link) into the reader's language. Please add translations to Template:Moty/title (+/−)
(Note: If you want to check or improve all biology translations in your language, you should go to Biology internationalization templates).
- This template is used on taxon pages to specify that the taxon is monotypic.
- Remark
- The subcategory describing the unique subtaxon should contain a call to {{Single}}.

with |source= to specify the taxon name if the current category/gallery name is not exactly the taxon name (In article "Vanda (Orchidaceae)" use name=Vanda) Use(DEPRECATED: <WebSiteShortName> can contain multiple sources separated by &)|source2=<WebSiteShortName2>
