Mustafa Kemal Atatürk passed the "the law of prohibited garment" in 1934. The law targeted religion-based clothing for men such as the turban (sarık) and robe (cübbe) in public, Atatürk's Reforms. The video shows the niqāb (peçe / peçeli) women.
