This template is used for creating "Duke University in {year}" categories.

Example usage: {{Duke University year|198|5}} (for the year 1985)

The school changed its name to Duke University in 1924; prior to then, it was known as Trinity College. Thus, this template expects that categories for 1923 and earlier will be named as "Trinity College in {year}" instead of "Duke University in {year}". Links and descriptions are automatically updated based on the year given.
