Yesterday I discovered this de:Portal_Diskussion:Tschechien#Prag Bilder. Since thy are cc-by-sa my question is this: "Should we request him to upload the relevant images for Prague in order to take the merit as a user on commons?" I think this would be only polite. Organize this page / dat tuto stranku do poradku

I suggest (and request help) to organise the page accordingly:

Czech name (English name) + link to the relevant Category, if existing attached to czech name.

If and where the category exists, we should select the four best pictures in the gallery on this page and the link to the gallery should entice viewer to discover more. --Diligent 21:44, 30 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I suggest that we use this model for all addition to galleris concerning Prague and its sub-section galleries :

If you do not know Czech of the language, leave Popis v cestine empty.

Kdybys neznal anglicky, vynech Description in English prazdny.

AFAIAA, using flags to represent languages is considered wrong, see Template:en, Template:cs, or Commons talk:Templates for galleries. Maybe something like
  • English: Townhall of New Town Čeština: Novoměstská radnice
    English: Townhall of New Town
    Čeština: Novoměstská radnice

Wasn't aware of it. Template updated here according to vote (full language name is 1) not part of official recommendation and 2) kind of too long for description on short description under gallery picture // ideal though for description within the images.
My role model was Warszawa and I am jealous of their beautifull page and would like to achieve the same for Praha ;-) --Diligent 10:12, 10 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

If you have time, if you are visiting Prague or living here, here are a couple of ideas based on what I feel Commons misses in terms of pictures of Prague.

Feel free to add to the list, comment, etc.
oh... and if you do add picture, do not forget to add Category:Prague on it when you upload them.
